Hello, my name is Johnson and this is my community.
The camp is home to over 190,000 refugees from different African countries, many of them children. Unfortunately, many have been here for years without access to formal education, but our school provides a much-needed opportunity for them to learn, grow, and connect with each other.
This is more than just a place for education. In a community where drugs and alcohol are a real problem, our school provides a safe space for kids to engage in meaningful activities and pursue their passions. By teaching film and video production, we're equipping them with practical skills that can help them build a better future.
Thanks to the support of people like you, we've come a long way since we started. In January, we had a very special graduation ceremony that celebrated the achievements of our students. We're also working on building a new hut to help accommodate more students and provide a better learning space.
But we still need your help to make our vision a reality. We're looking for support to buy tables, chairs, and other resources so that less students have to share. We'd also love to bring on professional trainers to help teach our classes and share their expertise.
There are a number of ways you can help. You can donate to our crowdfunding campaign, set up your own campaign, use social media to spread the word, or even reach out to local businesses or organizations for support. If you're a video specialist and would like to volunteer your time to run a virtual class for us, we would be honored!
So, please consider donating to our cause and help us continue to provide education and hope to those who need it the most. Your contribution can make a real difference in the lives of these children and the community as a whole. Thank you for your support and generosity!
